News Alert - Three little kittens rescued.
We rescued three kittens just under four weeks old who were stumbling around not able to see because their eyes were crusted shut from infection. They were alone in a yard where a feral cat colony lives. Two years ago Lucky Cat Rescue TNR'd the cats in the colony. Obviously, someone new showed up.
The kittens required immediate medical care for parasites, worms, eye infection. They were placed in a foster home that was initially like an intensive care unit. They required constant attention (feeding, bathing, medicating and loving of course). There were emergency trips to the vet for dehydration. The foster parents are devoted to saving these little ones and seeing them adopted into a forever loving home. A labor of love. With this care, the three kittens are thriving in their foster home. We will provide updates on their progress.
An added bonus, we were eventually able to trap the momma cat and she has been spayed.
Please help us pay the medical bills for these little kittens who needed so much care. Any amount you can donate is sincerely appreciated.

OUR MISSION…
Lucky Cat Rescue is committed to promoting the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets. We provide information to educate individuals and communities of responsible pet ownership. We assist with Trap, Neuter, and Return (TNR) of feral cat colonies with caretakers in a safe environment. This practice reduces the risk of unwanted litters and keeps cats healthier while minimizing the size of a colony. We help in the rescue of stray, abandoned, and feral kittens which require socialization prior to adoption.
Visit our Events Calendar to see what adoption and other fun events we have planned!
We love Etsy shops that donate some of their proceeds to animal rescues. Donations from these awesome Etsy shops help provide us with the resources we need to continue to rescue cats and kittens! Your support of these shops means so much!
Visit The Woodfox Muse (www.thewoodfoxmuse.etsy.com) and see the amazing, handcrafted artwork, eclectic art featuring mosaics, sea glass and stone. Maureen Shields is the artist who opened this shop in honor of her niece Angela Hughes Brooks. A portion of all proceeds is donated to Lucky Cat Rescue in Angela’s honor.
Angela was a Lucky Cat volunteer fostering our timid, scaredy cats who were rescued off the streets giving them a chance to find their forever loving homes. Angela poured her heart and soul into working with these rescued cats and kittens to make sure they knew they were safe and out of harms’ way and loved. Angela will never be forgotten for her compassion for God’s creatures and her contribution to Lucky Cat Rescue.
Our mission provides hope for cats and kittens that are considered “un-adoptable” and would be euthanized by shelters.
